Carnage
In questi giorni sto studiando per il training di competenze interculturali e proprio ieri leggevo un capitolo sui vari aspetti della comunicazione tra culture differenti. Per svagarmi poi in serata ho guardato Carnage di Polanski, che tratta dei problemi di comunicazione tra due famiglie entrambe newyorchesi. Nei testi che leggo si parla sempre di nazionalità diverse a confronto, mentre nel film le due coppie sono entrambe americane. Eppure ci sono tantissimi elementi (dalla scala valoriale dei singoli, alle differenze legate alla professione dei mariti, ai conflitti interni alla coppia e alla comunicazione tra uomo e donna) che rispecchiano alcune delle cause principali elencate nel mio libro di testo.
Se c’è quindi qualcuno lì fuori che si occupa o interessa delle frizioni comunicative legate a differenze culturali, non posso che consigliare il film (molto “teatrale” e per certi versi lento nel fluire, ma in termini di documentazione di una “case study” molto interessante). Il fatto che il film ambientato unicamente tra l’appartamento e il pianerottolo di una delle due famiglie non lo rende di certo un film avvincente, ma il casting eccezionale compensa i limiti del set, motivo per cui consiglio a chi può di guardare il film in lingua originale (non so come sia il doppiaggio, però).
