Champion Runner Helps Fallen Rival Cross Finish Line [VIDEO]

Like a superhero swooping in to help someone, runner Meghan Vogel came from behind during the 3,200-meter race at the high school state track meet in Ohio to help a struggling rival. Competitor Arden McMath fell multiple times Saturday because of leg cramps in the final 50 meters. But Vogel — who an hour earlier finished first in the Division III 1,600-meter run — lifted her and dragged her to the finish line. Vogel had been in last place when she saw the sophomore fall on the track, and she made sure they finished the race in the same positions.
